CyberDMG's role on the Morplan ShowcasePlus project:

Brief

• To deliver an ecommerce site that will enable multiple store fronts, including Morplan and ShowcasePlus, with multiple future sites expected to follow
• Enhance the user experience to improve conversion rates and basket size
• Provide stock information
• Provide real time integration to SAP

Deliverables

• Implemented WebSphere Commerce v6 platform
• Integration with SAP, QAS, and Commidea (payment plug-in)
• Refinement of the look, feel, and usability of the existing Morplan site
• Develop a new Showcaseplus site

Results

• Morplan have delivered an enhanced customer experience site that is easy to navigate and delivers valuable stock information. They also have the ability to launch multiple sites, to launch new sites very quickly and cost effectively to try marketing concepts (like ShowcasePlus). The sites also provide real time integration to SAP for customer registration and order placement.

• Morplan is a supplier to the UK's fashion and retail industry. Morplan felt restricted by their existing software capability levels with regards to their online catalogue. The solution we delivered updated Morplan's current site, which was running on commerce 4, to commerce 6. Utilizing the extended sites offering of commerce v6 enterprise enabled niche sites to be rapidly deployed using the extended sites assets, so that only CSS and images needed to be changed. This first of Morplan's extended sites was ShowcasePlus.
